Day 3 or 4 or.. I don't know

Ok. So here is the finished project. Larry worked so hard and I think it turned out so good! So, before you get to feast your eyes upon the new floor unless you scroll ahead and look - cheater) let's take a look back at the floor that was so difficult to part with. (Could you hear the sarcasm? I was trying to lay it on thick)






Now, with this view why wouldn't you want to but our house!? Ok, so don't start really listing off the reasons. Just enjoy the view!

We' re so close and I can't wait to get our house in order. Larry has done a really good job on the floor. We like it so much, we might not want to leave. We' re hopefully gonna finish everything tomorrow. More pictures to come.

Day...or rather, Evening 1

After comptemplating much and getting some outside opinion from my family, Larry and I decided to FINALLY replace our carpet in the kitchen with Laminate flooring. We started today and it has been a process. Not because it's really that hard to put down, but because our house is loppy and our floor is wavy. So, we had to figure out some way to fix that. So far I think it looks really good and I'm excited to see the final product. More pictures to come, but here's a sneek peak.

I've got a new way to walk. Walk. Walk.

Yee-haw! So I thought Reagan was ready to walk around 9 months but I guess she didn't feel the same. She has been so close and very able for quite a while, but a bit chicken. When she knew you were playing the game of trying to make her walk she would go limp- either lift her legs in the air or refuse to stand. Well on sunday she decided to stand for long period of time on her own and today she finally walked on her own. She's been taking steps with motivation (when she wants to) but she finally tried it on her own. She had been walking a bunch with the help of Beckie, Andy, and coutney and doing really good. But when I was going to the bathroom (i know. TMI) she was using my knee for balance and then instead of crawling to get in all the drawers under the sink, she walked!! I was so excited I peed myself...peed in the toilet, actually.
So I'm thinking this is the week for her to just take off. I don't know how excited I'll be when I find that her walking just makes my life more difficult, but for now I'm enjoying it.

New calling

So I just got called to be our ward choir director and I'm really excited. We have a very small library of music, though, so I was wondering if I could get some help from you folks (whomever that might be). What are some of your favorite choir songs? Either ones you've heard mo-tab perform, your ward choir, maybe just church hymns that you really like, ect... Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

First Step!

Reagan took her first step by herself today! We were over at Beckie's and her and Courtney were trying to get her to walk. Sure enough she took a step towards Beckie! I was at the bottom of stairs and only saw a sliver of her. We all got really excited and when I went on the stairs to take a video all she did was cry after that. Tomorrow's another day, right?
