8 months old and what a day!

Yesterday Reagan turned 8 months old! She is growing so much and i love watching her do it. She is such a sweet girl and Larry and I are so lucky and blessed to have such a good tempered baby.

A few things about Reagan.

She's crawling around and pulling herself up on things.

She is such a cuddly girl (which i love!) any time of the day.

She loves paper. If you ever lose an important paper, just let me know and I'll bring Reagan over. She'll find it in a matter of seconds.

She loves Loves LOVES "Disneyland Fun Sing Along". No matter what mood she's in, if we put that on she will smile, crawl over to the computer by the TV, pull herself up and watch the movie while bopping up and down.

She's easy to make smile.

She has 2 bottom teeth that she cut 2 weeks ago. So stinkin cute.

She loves baths and tries to get in when someone is in the shower.

Though her eyes were bright blue when she was born, now they have green in them on occasion.

Ok, well, i could go on and on but I'll stop for now. So...

Yesterday.

She started off the day with a few falls and following, a few bumps. But she's resilient and seemed happy. Later dad came home. We were eating lunch and dad decided to give Reagan a lick of cupcake. Well, a few minutes later when i was feeding her i start to notice some red splotches on her face. Soon her cheeks were puffy and those red splotches were spreading across her face. We called the doctor and eventually she was back to normal. Larry got a bit scarred and said he will now listen to mom and not give her food that mom says not to. So a bit later while we were getting ready to go to grandma Thorpe's for dinner,,,well, i won't get into details but we had an incident with canned air. Mom got mad and Dad learned another lesson. Dinner went fine and as it was time to go to bed Reagan was playing in the other room with her cousin. All i know is that i heard her scream, her cousin ran and she had a bruise and scratch on her face. Well, when i woke up this morning she had a bruise on her cheek and a swollen eye. Poor girl.Needless to say, it was a rough day,

Where in the wolrd....

AHH! So much has happened and i haven't put it down in my blog- which is acting as my journal most of the time - and now i can't find my camera computer cord and i feel overwhelmed with all the stuff that i'm going to forget!!! (breathe*sigh*... ok)

Who knows why. Well, i know why we were originally selling it - that's so Larry could go back to school and the only way we could afford it was if we lowered our house payment. So, up to the market the house went. Well, plans are looking as if to change and so i don't know what we're doing or where we're going to live. That is if our house even sells. Who knows. Well, so you can all enjoy a look at our humble abode, here is the link to the realtor co website. Enjoy. Ah, do you like how Reagan is asleep in the crib? That's because the guy said he was coming at 1:30 (even called to see if he could come early) and then didn't show up until 2:30. Well by 1:50, with Reagan crying because she was tired and hungry i finally said, "whatever picture guy" and so i fed her and put her to bed. And there she stayed, thus in the picture she be. Ok, well enough with feeling overwhelmed.

Reagan crawled yesterday!! She has been so close for a while but she was so motivated by some walmart bags that were on the floor that it pushed her over the edge and she did it! She's been scooting/rolling/falling around to get to things for a while but hadn't quite accomplished the crawl("the crawl" - it sounds like a dance) until yesterday. I got it on video, but i cannot share it with you until i find my camera cord - BLAST! So, until then, just use your imagination.

Well, i will try to post more in just a little bit. It helps to have pictures cause they help me remember what in the world has been going on. Hmmm...

That's My Girl!!!

Yesterday I had to take care of some stuff around the house. Usually if Reagan's not happy I'll put on Baby Einstein on You tube. She likes it and just stares at it. Well, yesterday i decided to show Reagan a little something different - "Disneyland Fun - Sing along". Not only did she stare at it but she was laughing/cooing at it!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I sure miss her. She's so stinkin funny and i miss having her around. Thank goodness for the Plan of salvation. Our Heavenly Father sure loves us as he gives us the opportunity to see our friends and family again.

Fun events

This morning when i was changing Reagan's diaper after she woke up, she decided to play with her blanket a bit.

Yesterday after i changed Reagan's diaper i was talking to her on the ground. She had been trying to roll over and getting pretty close, but yesterday SHE DID IT!!!! I screamed really loud in excitement. Apparently too loud cause she started to cry. Ha. It was pretty funny. Hopefully i didn't make it such a bad experience for her that she's now afraid to do it again. We'll see.

So, the Friday before last i went to the Hoggle Zoo with Beckie, Courtney, Nikki, her kids and Linda. It was pretty cold, overcast, and rained a little, but it was a blast. I love the zoo and it makes me wish i would have stuck to wildlife biology as my major in college...and finished it! It's a really nice zoo and i'm excited to take Reagan there when she's older and actually knows what's going on. Before leaving the zoo we went to the gift shop where they had a lot of fun decorations. Well, i decided then that i should do Reagan's room jungle instead of surfer-ish girl theme. Money's tight, as always, and i figured i already had a bunch of stuff that i got from home where i could do her room for cheap. So i got out my stuffed animals, paper, and bought some paper grocery bags from the store for 90 cents and went to work. It's still in the making, but for only spending a couple bucks total (i had to buy more white paint) i think it is turning out pretty good. I'll take pictures and post them when it's finished.

There's a playground to play at and there are also prairie dogs that you can look at. She was watching them at one time.

In the front of the zoo there was this huge wooden elephant that every once in a while would make a sound and squirt water from it's trunk. Well, Reagan didn't like the sound it made when squirting water so much. Kinda funny.

Sick and Wrong!!

So when i got Reagan out of her crib this morning she had had a bit of a blow out. No problem. I've dealt with quite a few already so nothing too new. So i lay her on the blanket that she had slept in and began to change her diaper. It had gone up her back a little so i cleaned it off with wipes. Before putting her new diaper on i folded the blanket so she was laying on everything clean. (I didn't see any mess on the blanket, but wanted to make sure). So, i had to pee really bad so i left her on her blanket in just a diaper. After going pee i went to get a onesie on her and feed her so i put her on my lap while she's sucking on her fingers. When i go to put her hand through the hole i have to take it out of her mouth and guess what i saw!!?!! POOP!!! THERE WAS A GLOB OF POOP ON HER HAND! Sick. Sick. Sick. I grabbed a wipe and cleaned both of her hands really well. How did it get there? Did she eat some poop and just suck of the evidence?? All i know is that i wanted to throw up a little. Nasty.

Well, Reagan is growing up fast. She's been playing with her hands and legs a bunch and of course loves her fingers. We took her to the doctors cause she was sick and she's now 14.5oz and 25 inches long! She's still in the 80% of her weight, but now in the 90%of her height. Larry thinks she's gonna be a giant. Hmmm... She's still lots of fun and smiles so much. She tries to push herself on her side with her feet. She'll be in one position on her play mat and when i look at her next she'll be flipped 180 degrees or will push herself off the mat. Crazy girl. She loves her fingers. Tummy time! Getting ready to go on a walk and not get sunburned.
