The latest fun

One of Larry's counselors in the elders quorum works for a flooring company. he had some left over tile and so he said that we could have it. It was more than enough to do our bathroom and our laundry room. it's quite nice. He and larry installed it this last week and it looks so much nicer. Here are some before and after pics. Now, the carpet's done, tile in the bathroom and such, now all we have to do is the kitchen. Maybe in a few years or so.
For those that didn't get to see all my cool pics of our house that i sent out when we first moved in, this is when we first moved in and had to remove the nasty pee stink carpet. I told larry to smile and so he posed for me. He LOVES it when i take out the camera and take pictures of everything.

The sun will come out....ummm...tomorrow???

It's cold. I'm constantly afraid for my life as I am walking to and from my car to my house/job. This was taken a few days ago as i was getting ready for work in the morning. I'm afraid that when i posted these pictures all the people i've been trying to convince to move to utah will for sure not come now. but, i thought i'd put them up anyway because it's crazy cold and just keep telling yall that tooele IS great and you really should move here!

Most of you know what's going on in my life. I'm married. Larry and I bought a house in Pine Canyon (aka Tooele, Utah) and it's a wonderful place. Quite a different pace from California, that's for sure, but it's great. The first time Larry took me to see our house i saw a goat tied up in someones front yard and some folks walking their lambs. Huh? It's been a lot of fun, though, finding cows grazing on our front lawn and deer in our backyard. It's a pretty place and I have grown to love it in such a small amount of time.

The latest fun has been my piano. Most of you know that I purchased it from the DI for a good price and found that there had been mice living in it. A huge clean up later I got it tuned and started teaching from home. Lately my students have been complaining about one of my keys sticking. So I decided to take apart my piano once again to see what was going on. Sure enough I found another surprise. Well, half of a surprise. One of the mice left it's arm in between my high C. Nasty.

I finally did it!

Oh my heavens, I finally did it. I've joined the bloggers clan. I figured it would be a lot easier than sending emails out to everyone with random bits of information and stories. Now everyone else has to check this out if they're at all interested. There's really not much to write about seeing as Larry and I don't have any kids and our dog that we bought, we sold, and our only other family member we had died a few days ago. Poor fish. Despite all of that, I'll try and make this as interesting as possible.

Wish me luck!
