Number 6 in 2 1/2 years

So, we've done it again. It was mostly my fault this time. Every time we go over to larry's parents house Reagan sees Chloe, their dog, and loves her. Well the kicker was when linda brought Chloe over to our house and seeing Reagan's reaction. She was so cute with her and so excited as she followed Chloe everywhere. So I said to larry that we should get a dog. That started us just looking at what was out there. Just curious. Anyway, larry happened to get on ksl one time and found this cute chihuahua/yorkie mix dog for free. A lady worked at an appartment complex rescued it. She had had it for a month, contacted the lame owner who said she was to much work and didn't want to pay the pet deposit, so she kept her until she went into heat. Her male dog, although neutered, was going a bit crazy, which in turn traumatized this lady so she decided it had to go. I was still pretty skeptical about this dog, if I even wanted a dog and how it would do with Reagan. Well we went and saw her last night and right when we walked in she was so friendly to us and especially to Reagan. The only problem the lady said she had was bolting for open doors. Well, problem solved already. She's great. When reagan has been crying, she'll go over and lick her or lay by her. And when Reagan has been a bit rough with Trixie (that's her name) she either moves away or just deals with it. We're really lucky to have found such a good dog.
